1. Do I have to be a Costco member?
No, you do not need a Costco membership to visit our optometry offices.
2. How long does the eye exam take? How often do I need an eye exam?
A comprehensive eye examination takes approximately 20 minutes. Most optometrists recommend getting a routine eye exam once every two years, although annual checkups may be necessary depending on your age, health, and whether you currently wear glasses or contact lenses.
3. Can I claim insurance?
Yes, we provide you with a service receipt sufficient for your insurance purposes.
4. Do I need to bring my Manitoba Health Card and list of medications?
Yes, a Manitoba Health Card is required for all patients, especially for seniors, children, and patients with specific health conditions.
5. What payment methods do you accept?
While we strongly prefer debit and cash payments, we also accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not accept AMEX.
6. Can I reprint a copy of my prescription?
Two copies of your prescription are provided after your examination. Replacement reprints are available upon request.
7. Do I need to bring a driver?
You will not need a driver for your initial visit. If your optometrist specifies that you will need a dilation during a subsequent appointment, please ensure that you have a designated driver with you.
